Central location and rate included a good breakfast to start the day.

First night was spent in a room with very steep stairs and in another building across from the main hotel. However we managed to switch rooms the following day and were delighted with the alternative room provided.

Location is very easy to everything. Breakfast was very good, staff was great.

Location, our room window was directly facing a pedestrian walkway. Plan on hearing voices etc well into the night. Didn't quiet until about 2am

Very close to the station, with lovely views from our room. Enjoyed delicious authentic Dutch food in the hotel restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful too - they even booked us a (discounted) canal cruise, enabling us to make the best use of the time we had before our train.

Nothing negative to say - would happily stay here again.

Breakfast was really good compared to the price category where we are with this hotel. Location was really good.

The stairs to the room was really narrow and steep, real issues in getting the luggage to the room, people with challenges in mobility will have difficulties getting to the room. Hotel should more clearly tell that some of the rooms will not fit to the people who has challenges with mobility.

The location is absolutely great - just nearby the red lights area, the city center, the railway station. You can get everywhere in the city center by foot and if you want to travel a bit around Amsterdam, the bus and railway station is really close by. The room was spacious, breakfast was not too rich but OK. I was a bit afraid of the room being noisy as I read many times in the reviews (our room was on the first floor with view to one of the busy streets), but eventually had no problem with that. It is not "quiet quiet", but good enough for sleeping.

The staff were not too welcoming, some acted like disturbed when we came. Few plugs in the room were not working and wires were out of the walls... Bathroom basic but clean.

Excellent accommodations for the price. Location at Amsterdam Centrale near Train and Metro and hub of shops and restaurants

Location is very convenient, just 5 min from Railway station and all touristic places located around. Very delicious breakfast: bacon, salad, cheese, fruit.

Little bit noisy and old building means crazy steps :). You have to make a lot of turns, climbs, and one more unexpected steps with your luggage. But they have elevator! And it stops on the same level as well as room located.

The location of the hotel was perfect! Everything within walking distance. Beds were super comfortable, we had a room with 6 beds and there was plenty of room. Breakfast was included but we tried twice and all items were gone. Didn't head to the bar or restaurant as we ate out. The night of our arrival the staff member on reception who greeted us was really lovely and as well as departure. However, on our last night stay around the afternoon we were heading out and the reception staff shouted at us for our key. We tried to ask why and was something wrong but he continued to demand our key and laugh in our faces about our confusion. Apparently it was 'hotel policy' that the hotel keys don't leave the hotel? Working in a hotel myself I thought it was a little odd, I understand security reasons maybe but he could of went about it in a nicer way. When asking the staff member why this policy was only brought to use on our last night he just kept laughing saying 'hotel policy'. Wasn't very helpful and very rude.

Stairs to apartment quite steep and front door lock didn't work as electronic system needed updating but staff were extremely helpful.

Really really lovely and helpful staff, particularly Ron and Mat. The breakfast was fab, the rooms really lovely and a great comfy bed. .Highly recommend as the area was really central too.If we go to Amsterdam again we will definitely want to stay here.

The only thing that could of made the stay better would be to have tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, but that is the ONLY thing and you can get tea/coffee in the bar

Hotel is located in city center of Amsterdam which is really convenient. Room was OK, although the hotel is not new, all on old wooden beams, so there is not that much sound isolation. Breakfast ok, but just okay.

For 3 days I got an english breakfast, ordered in the kitchen, but one day one lady came and told me I can't have english breakfast any more. This was not very cool.
